PLAY AND EXPRESSIVE ARTS CAMPS

“I have a conviction that a few weeks spent in a well organized summer camp may be of more value educationally than a whole year of formal school work.”

—  Charles W. Elliot

What is Play and Expressive Art Camp?

Camps involve one or more therapist who lead a group of roughly 6 to 8 campers on a week-long adventure to greater self-awareness, emotional connection, and enhanced social skills . Our camps are based in research designed to target skills that are developmentally appropriate for the age and stage of our campers. Our "camp counselors" are highly trained therapists specializing in children and adolescents.

Typically, camps meet for a week for 3 hours. Camps are attended by children and teens who may or may not be in individual therapy. An intake is conducted with each family to match the appropriateness of the camper to the session and participants.

Our camps focus on improving social skills, helping children and teens navigate through today's world through their perspective.
